Sommaire
Bertrand Savouré, President of the Conseil Supérieur du Notariat (CSN), is taking part in the institutional meetings of the UINL and the 31st UINL Congress in Berlin.
On this occasion, the Assembly of UINL Member Notariats:
- approved Kyrgyzstan’s application as the 93rd member;
- elected its new President, Mr David Figueroa Márquez, Honorary President of the Mexican Notariat, who will take office on 1 January 2026.
The CSN congratulates the French presidency of Lionel Galliez, which marked a major milestone in the collective history of the UINL.
He successfully defended the uniqueness of the notarial model and the diversity of legal systems worldwide, while laying a solid doctrinal foundation to strengthen the Union’s action. Thanks to this momentum, the International Notarial Code – the result of more than two years of collaborative work – has come into being. This founding text now serves as a global frame of reference, ensuring unity of principles while respecting the diversity of UINL member notariats.
This fourth French presidency continues to demonstrate the central role of the French notariat since 1948
1948, the year the UINL was created (with France as one of its founding members) – in the international development of the profession and in promoting notarial expertise on a global scale.
