The Office of the Superior Council of Notaries is made up of seven members elected for two years by the General Assembly. The President of the Superior Council of Notaries is elected for two years. The General Assembly of the Superior Council of Notaries meets several times a year; the sessions are prepared by several specialized committees.

Inspector General of Finance on secondment, has been Director General of the Superior Council of Notaries (CSN) since May 3, 2018. To assist him in his missions, he can count on a team of around 120 employees. Winner of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, graduate of HEC, Jérôme Fehrenbach joined the General Inspectorate of Finance after leaving ENA in 1996.
